COMPLETING A START-OF-DAY PROCESS
ON YOUR ANDROID DEVICE

3. Confirm a start of day is not present

4. Press “Start of Day / Adjust” (android will check options if webservice is input, if no webservice, the device will prompt for webservice)

5. Press the refresh button on the top right of the screen to pull new routes/trucks/reps

6. Select the route

7. Enter Route Password if company option is set to required, otherwise leave blank

8. Select Sales rep from available list

9. Select truck (Will be locked if running lock truck to route option)

10. Enter Mileage (Optional)

11. Select the load date the route will run (the date dictates what customers and inventory are loaded on the device)

12. Press “Get Data”

a. Device will check the version to verify its running most recent version

b. Device checks for if route has been used already

1. Alert messages – Route status is Settled or Unsettled – route date is complete, return to selection and choose a different route or date

2. Truck in Use – choose yes or no,

1. If running start of day from desktop, device will alert to already in use

2. If not running desktop start of day, determine if another device has used the route before accepting. Each device should be running a unique route – do not share across multiple devices as it will cause invoice number duplication

13. Android will display load information

a. To adjust load qty with prefilled inventory

1. Change QTY column to amount of product to add or remove

b. To add new products (DO NOT PRESS THE BACK BUTTON OR IT WILL NOT COMMIT THE PRODUCTS – ALWAYS PRESS SAVE)

1. Press add items (If using product types, screen will show product types first)

2. Select show all

3. Scroll list or use search function (Items can be searched using item number or description)

4. Enter QTY on items to add

5. Press save twice if using product type or continue adding additional items

6. Press save when done making adjustments

14. Device will prompt for Driver signature (If using truck inspection – answer each question with “ok” check box or enter comment for issue)

15. Press save

16. On successful completion of Start of Day, the device will return to the main menu and display route information
