If you want to allow pre-configured discounts to be applied to individual items on the Android, do the following:
Create/Modify Discount Levels
1. Customers > Discount
2. Select ‘New’
3. Enter a unique discount number, discount description, and rate
If discounting down from wholesale, prefix the rate value with a negative symbol (-)
4. Click ‘Save’
5. Continue adding additional discounts by following steps 2 through 4
6. You will now see your created list of discounts
Create/Modify Product Types with Discounts
1. Inventory > Product Type
3. Enter a unique Product Type and Product Description
4. Click ‘Add Multiple Inventory’
5. Select the top item, hold Shift, and select the bottom item
6. Click ‘Select’
7. See the items you have added to the product type
8. Select the ‘Discounts’ tab
9. Enable the ‘Discount Available’ tick box
10. Key in the discount numbers that apply
Applying Discounts to individual items on the android order screen
1. Add an item to the order screen
2. Click on the item row (Anywhere in the grey bar)
3. Click the ‘View’ button on the discount line
5. See the price has changed. Notice the original price
6. Click ‘Save’
7. See the items price has changed to reflect the subtotal
You have just successfully created discounts and applied them to an item on an invoice from the Android!
